A chain of strip clubs.

I really enjoyed the class on Thursday it was fun. I was a member of the city council and oppose the business. I felt that it was bad for business in down town Raleigh. There are a lot of conferences and big shows down there and it would just turn people away with the strip club there for every one to see. I think that it is disrespectful to women and men to want that so close to Shaw and the family own businesses down town. Would you want some one to put a strip club next door to our house. No i do not think so because i would not but that is just what i think. Every one has there own views about this and i respect that.
We must think about the young kids that are going to see this and want to do what they are seeing. I really think this is a social problem because it effects every one who have business down town and homes and lets not forget the schools that are near by. remember they never said what hours the club would be open so it can effect a lot of people. I feel that we need to think about the bigger picture and what the real out come will be. That is how i feel about the strip club issue.

Free Write on Thursday class

We talked about the first black president and how that come about. I feel that it was in god time that it happen. We have had some good presidents in the past but i really don't know what to think about our first black president. Anyone can say all these good things that they want to get done while in office but who knows what he is really up against. He can say that he will give us the world but that does not mean that it is going to happen. I feel that we should just wait and see what is going to go down in a few months to come.
I am glad that we do have a black president and i hope he do what he said he will do but if not then it's not a big deal to me because i have been through so much in life that sometimes i feel like whatever happens let it. Maybe one day i will change but as of right now that is the way i feel. But much luck to the new black president.
